Polka Dots- Stencil - Thanks

This card was again made last night with the new Heidi Swapp Stencil. For the coloring I used Tim holts distress ink in Peacock feathers and the Black soot.The Banner was hand cut and the sentiment used was from Simon Says stamp.

Stenciled Backdrop with Embossing Paste - Get well Soon

Hello, 

I recently got a couple of new stencils from Heidi Swapp and embossing paste which I was dying to try out. 

Last night, I sat and experimented for the first time with Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste in white color and I loved the results, I got the inspiration for this design from Pinterest. The sentiment used is from Paper Smooches ' Get well'.

Glitter paper Scraps

Hello All, 

Have you checked out the latest Moxie Fab world Challenge:

Fabulous Friday: Getting Fancy

The minute I saw this, I thought of all the Shiny glittery paper lying in my stash. I tried to assemble the scraps as per the inspiration source, however that left too many gaps which dint look very nice.

Later, I just gathered all the pieces in this jigsaw manner as per the orientation of the color in the source pic. 

I am not too sure of being happy with the results. Too many colors and textures for my taste. 

Anyways, I am going ahead to enter this in the challenge. Lets see :)

I have been wanting to create the Bokeh effect for a long. This by long shot doesnt qualify for it, but its a start for me.

I used 2 distress ink colors: mowed lawn and mustard seed.

Clean and Simple - Hello

Hi,

This is another CAS card which I have created, I have used the Martha stewart Score board to create the 3 score lines in the card. The word hello is die cut from W Plus 9 - hello die.
To finish the card, I added three flowers :)

Colorwash - Rainbow - Love

Hello,

This is a very simple rainbow card created with the help of Color Wash stamp from Pink Paislee. I have used distress inks for the stamping. I have also misted the stamps with couple of squirts of water before I stamped the image, That helped in blending the colors.

I love the look of this card. Its my favorite so far!

Lace Stamp - Sequins - Distress Stamping - Miss you

Hello,

This beautiful stamp set is from Altenew. I fell in love with this stamp the day I set my eyes on it. For this card, I have distressed my stamp with Picked raspberry, mowed lawn, seedless preserve and some peacock feathers. Before I stamped the image, I misted the stamp with couple of spritz of water from my mister. I stamped the image on watercolor paper which gave such a beautiful result.

I fussy cut the image and added it to my card with the help of foam tape. The sentiment 'Miss you' is also from Altenew collection, which I stamped into a small banner tag. I added a couple of pearls to enhance the look of the card. To finish I just added some sequins in blues and pink.

Hi,

This is one of the most clean and simple card that I could come up with. I have great difficulty in keeping my cards clean :| and simple.
I always feels that something is missing.
However, this card looked complete to me the minute i finished adding the washi tape banner. The sentiment used is - "Thanks" from Simon says stamp. The pattern paper is from a very old collection - If I remember correctly - Echo park.

Watercolor - Dodecagram - Celebrate

Hello,

This is distress watercolor card which has been stamped with Altenew's Dodecagram . The sentiment has been stamped onto vellum strip which as been adhered behind the watercolor paper. I have layered the watercolor paper on a black cardstock which I finally added onto my main A2 card body. The card was distressed using some mowed lawn ink from Tim Holtz.
